To take part in Charity
The Trust invites all in India and abroad who are interested in the noble cause of service to Brahma Vidya tradition, to participate generously for carrying out the following activities.
Building Fund - It is proposed to construct a new larger kitchen and dining hall, construct a new residential block with six independent rooms and to expand the existing office room block and construct a room on the first floor. This project will be completed in phases.
Dainik Seva Scheme
General Donation - Devotees can contribute a sum of Rs 3,000/- to bear one day cost covering day to day's expenses of the ashram including the Bhiksha expenses. Devotees can suggest any day of their choice like birthday, wedding anniversary, etc. with the name of the donor.
Corpus donation - Devotees can participate by contributing Rs 40,000/- and suggest any one day in a year of their choice to carry out Dainik Seva Scheme perennially.
Devotees can also participate in other following activities either in the form of general donation or a corpus donation of any amount of their choice:
1. Annakshetra - Covering the Bhiksha expenses of Sadhus, students and other residents.
2. Brindavan Maintanance - To maintain the Samadhis of the Sannyasins and maintain the garden at Brindavan,
3. Vedaparayanam - Covering the sambavana, food expenses of Ritviks, etc.
4. Tiruvacakam Muttradal - Covering the stay, food and transportation expenses of the Sivanadiars, alankaram & flower expenses and other related expenses.
5. Annadanam - On special occasions.
6. Publication Expenses - To meet the ongoing publication expenses
7. Sadhu, Sannyasin Health Fund - To meet the health care expenses of resident Sadhus and Sannyasins and other students.
8. Maintenance Corpus - For maintenance and general repairs of the buildings.
9. Assistance to Schools - For scholarship endowment to top students at nearby schools. School uniforms are also distributed to students of the neighboring schools at Kudamurutti and Kuchipalayam.
Donations
Cheques / Demand Drafts crossed and A/C Payee may be drawn in favor of Sri Gnanananda Niketan and on State Bank of India, Tirukovilur. Directions for use of Funds may be mentioned clearly in your forwarding letter. All donations to the Trust will qualify for exemption from Income Tax under Section 80G of the Indian Income Tax Act. The Trust is registered under FCRA, If you desire to give a donation, you may write to us, enabling us to send you the details for making online transfer.
